Twas The Week After Christmas (Tree Lighting Showcase) Ages 8-13

A hilarious and heartwarming story about what happens when the North Pole loses the Christmas Spirit. It’s been years since the Elves and Reindeer have gotten along. The Reindeer egos are high and Elves’ productivity is low. Will a week of vacation help remind the Elves and Reindeer what Christmas is all about?

We offer a variety of enriching theatre experiences for students of all ages. Pricing is broken down into Registration Fees(paid to TDRPD) and Production Fees (covering materials, costumes, and more).

🎬 Workshop
  • Registration Fee: $200 (paid to TDRPD)
  • Production Fee: $150
  • Rehearsals: 1 day per week
  • Includes: T-shirts, hats, accessories, and scripts
🌟 Showcase

  • Rehearsals: 1–2 days per week
  • Includes: Costumes, props, set pieces, paid performances, and scripts
🎭 Mini Main Stage
  • Registration Fee: $250 (paid to TDRPD)
  • Production Fee: $250
  • Rehearsals: 2 days per week
  • Includes: Full sets, costumes, lighting and sound, 3–4 performances, paid audiences, and scripts
🎭 Teen Main Stage
  • Registration Fee: $300 (paid to TDRPD)
  • Production Fee: $300
  • Rehearsals: 2–3 days per week
  • Includes: Full sets, costumes, professional choreography, lighting and sound, 6 performances, paid audiences, and script rental
🎭 Adult Main Stage Productions
  • Registration Fee: $300 (paid to TDRPD)
  • Production Fee: $275
  • Sometimes children and teens are needed for our annual adult main stage musical production.
  • Includes: Full costumes, sets, props, lighting and sound, 6 performances, extended rehearsal time with professional music coaches and choreographers, and script rental
☀️ Summer Camp
  • Cost: $350 per week
  • Includes: All-inclusive week of theatrical fun, including scripts
📚 Classes
  • Cost: $185 for 8-week session
  • Includes: Engaging instruction in acting, movement, and more

Note: Truckee Community Theater rents space from TDRPD and is considered an "affiliate". Rent for rehearsal and performance space is covered in part by registration fees. Production fees apply to the project itself and covers sets, costumes, show licensing, staff fees, and more.
